I can't take it anymore, I have to admit it: I'm in love with Gucci. I never thought I would say this, but since last year's collections, and in the absence of HIM, Gucci (and a little Balmain) is what has kept me entertained.
The new collection is everything I've been dreaming of, it's like my prayers for 19th Century vamp have been attended: thank you. Sure I find some reminescences of Galliano's last collection, but that can never be a bad thing. The very best: this collection (and to be honest, 2011's as well) can actually help fight the economical crisis: thank you Frida for making work attire that actually makes me want to go out there and... work!
